Air Quality Alerts are issued as a means of informing the public when unhealthy air quality conditions exist, or when conditions are forecast to become a potential problem. Alerts are typically issued for elevated Ozone levels, or for particularly high readings of Fine Particulate Matter.
This section was created to maintain a list of the Air Quality Alerts that have been issued for each year. To view past Alerts, please select from the menu at left.
For more detailed information about air quality forecasting, please see other areas of the EEPA website.
